Nancy Freeze, Executive Director
Nancy and her husband, Dennis, moved to Mendocino in 1999 from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she worked for Hewlett-Packard for 15 years. They purchased and ran a bed & breakfast in Mendocino for six years. After selling the business, Nancy worked for the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce. In July 2007, Nancy accepted the position as Executive Director with the Kelley House Museum. Nancy’s hobbies are gardening, reading, and walks in the redwoods.
Carolyn Zeitler, Archivist
Carolyn Zeitler comes to the Kelley House Museum from the California State Library in Sacramento where she worked as a legislative research librarian. She is a 1994 graduate of the School of Library Science at San Jose State University. Her experience has included public, academic and special libraries. Carolyn and her family moved to Caspar in 2005, where she has expanded her professional interests to local history, preservation and conservation of museum collections.
